Do you know that book?
I feel like it’s a staple for most folks who have kids. At least that’s how it is for everyone that I know. If you don’t yet, have children then here’s a fun little tradition.
At my baby shower, the guestbook was the Dr. Suess book: Oh, the places you will go… and then every year from school, at the end of the year, I’ve had my sons teachers sign the book – the plan is to give it to him at his H.S. graduation – to see how he’s grown over the years and to all those who have helped him get to where he is.
Why am I telling you this?
Well, hopefully to give you an idea for something sweet and savory to do for your own child or for a family member or for a friend.
Whatever you choose.
Another reason is because 2025 has been quite the blunder and the month isn’t even over.

In the social media world:
Meta (Facebook/IG/Threads) announced some crazy shit, they’re going to stop fact-checking, the ended their inclusion & diversity programs… now, there is a mass extraction from Meta, especially next week right after TT gets banned.
Tik of the Tok – high probability of getting banned in the USA on Sunday of this week, because of “national security concerns” — Don’t even get me started on that B.S. of an excuse, shame on you US Govt. There are many sites that people are moving to: Fanbase, Neptune(still in beta phase), Rednote, amongst others.
Goodreads (Owned by amazon aka: Bezos) Folks want to stop participating in his world and move over to The storygraph and Fable (which need author-ended feeds, please)
These two things, are huge for the indie author community as well as readers… where will we go to celebrate one another, how will we learn about new releases, updates, book news?
If this year has taught us anything, it’s to be resilient, because life is full unpredictable outcomes.
Social media is rearranging itself, and it’s time to figure out the next moves, who knows what will happen next, where everyone will go, or how long another platform will last. (R.I.P. MySpace)
But in the interim, the one thing that I have 100% control over, that no one, no big fish can close down, and a way that you can stay in touch with me, is by subscribing to. my newsletter. My list is NEVER shared and you can unsubscribe anytime, but I would love for you to stay aboard… and bonus – when you sign up… you get a freebie!)
So, here are some places that you can “stay in the know” right now with all things ME!
You can always find info here at the Website (That’s where you are now!)
Facebook – I will still be on FB, but not as frequent, and not at all next week.
Instagram – Same as above
Substack – let’s give this a try…
I am going to dilly-daddily on the following sites, to see what’s comparable to TT
Pending Neptune Account, it’s currently in the beta stages of testing and quite like TT. Unfortunately, they didn’t plan to line up with the mass exodus, but I will still give it a go.

So, stay tuned… I’ll be playing all over the place and I would love to play with you… hehehe.
